Downwind Foiling in Slow Motion

Downwinding on SUPs is bigger than ever and it seems that no matter the foiler you talk to, they have or are buying a downwind SUP foil board.

Seems designs coming out of Hawaii are becoming increasing popular with a narrow board, V tail and canoe hull as featured in this video.

Even more interesting is to see this all happening in slow motion and check the foot position  - so well centered... I guess you have little choice.

The Kihei run may be found on the southern coast of Maui. In this particular instance, The rider is sailing a Go Foil RS 1150 with a 26.5" mast and a fixed 14.5 knots of long tail wind.
