Recently spotted at Greenmount is Gold Coast local Canning Mason.

Adapt at the foiling sports, Canning insists that he has only foiling for 6 months, but in that short time he has made the foil part of his body.

More so, riding the 82cm Lift mast, he is pulling high G turns with ease and keeping his hydrofoil in the water.

Another things that impresses is his graceful ability to pump to seaward and link ups - while a lot of foilers have skill to do this, Canning's body movements are fluid and balanced.

We will be keeping an eye out for more Canning.
